This is an on-site, full-time opportunity to join the 108 ideaspace administrative team.  The role is based in our super-cool downtown Toronto office, across the street from the Eaton Centre.

Qualifications:

  • University or College Degree (Screening criteria)
  • Complete fluency in English is a key requirement (Screening criteria)
  • Minimum one-year in a related role in an office (Screening criteria)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Enjoys multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience with MS-Office and Social media tools
  • Very comfortable with technology; WordPress experience an asset
  • Self-starter; takes the initiative
  • A nice person

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for maintaining the 108 office
  • Provides administrative support (and reports) to the CEO
  • Website and client Quality Assurance review
  • Formatting and sending email monthly newsletters, weekly tipsheets, etc.
  • Data entry and database management
  • Booking meetings, couriers, filing, fulfillment, greeting visitors, etc
  • Content management and loading for 108 ideaspace web and client web properties
  • Video editing and production
  • Coordinates logistics for seminars, events, and tradeshows
  • Sector research to support business development team
  • Proofreading
  • Responding to client and community questions via email, social, and over the phone.
